Virginia Louise Smith is an American actress who portrays Secretary of State on ABC's Scandal.
She has appeared on several television shows as a guest star such as Parks and Recreation, The Big C, True Blood, Lie to Me, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Rescue Me, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and in Shonda Rhimes’ other hit ABC series Private Practice. She has also appeared in the film Jack and Jill alongside Adam Sandler.
