Molly Ackerman was a friend of Wendy’s, the woman David woke up in bed with dead. She followed David so she could talk to him and tell him that she knew who killed Wendy.
History
Olivia and her gladiators helped her out, kept her safe. She ID'd Grayden Osborne as the person who killed Wendy; then after Osborne turned up dead, from what looked like a suicide, her and David were safe. Or so they thought...
Not too long after that the team discovered that Molly was working for Albatross. But as it turned out she was threatened by an associate of Albatross' to tell Olivia Pope & Associates that Osborne was the man who she saw with Wendy, the man who killed her. After the gladiators figured all of this out they tried to help and get information from her but she was too scared to tell them.
Not too long after talking to them she turned up dead from a drive by hit and run, but the team knew that Albatross was behind the “hit”. It was later revealed that Billy Chambers was the one behind the wheel that killed her.
