Alissa is a legal secretary to U.S. Attorney, David Rosen.
History
Season One
When Amanda Tanner died under suspicious circumstances, she and David launched into an all-night investigation. Being a similar age to Amanda, Alissa was able to help David navigate the investigation by singling out certain men that Amanda wouldn't date. Despite that, they still couldn't find out who her lover was by morning. ("The Trail")
Season Two
In David Rosen's absence she was working for Assistant US Attorney Jane Powell, she hated every moment of it because she got fed up with ordering Jane's lunch meal and felt that Jane was a racist. She was the first to see David's infamous wall of a crusade against Olivia Pope. She still felt loyal to to David and helped him clean up his apartment; while hearing out his theory about how Olivia got to the judge in Quinn Perkins' murder trial. ("Hunting Season")
While still helping David, Alissa learned that David was sleeping with Abby Whelan and she encouraged David to pursue his relationship with her, she even gave Abby a nickname, "Ging" (a reference to "Ginger" from Gilligan's Island). She warned David to keep Abby away from the wall... well too little too late! ("Beltway Unbuckled")
Even after David got his job back the second time, this time as US Attorney of the District of Columbia, Alissa followed him to his new job. ("White Hat's Back On")
